Hi.

I've been using AMIP for a long time with mIRC 6.17, NNS 4.03 and foobar 0.9.x - everything worked fine on WinXP.
As I got an new notebook with Vista Business, I updated my components to latest mIRC 6.31 and NNS 4.2, still using foobar 0.9.x and now AMIP 2.63. (clean installations)

I tried to use my old presets, so I bound '/dde mPlug announce preset 1' to the F1 key - no effect.
My settings:
AMIP's '%s' format:
[%artist% ] $if(%title%,[• %album%[ #[%disc%/]$num(%tracknumber%,2)]] • %title%,%_filename_ext%) ••

preset 1: //say %s

By starting foobar2000, "*** AMIP v2.63 enabled - type /dde mPlug help to get help and /dde mPlug options to configure AMIP" appears in the mIRC status window.
DDE Server is enabled.
So I tried the manual mode - no effect. No message, no status, nothing. Neither "/dde mPlug help" nor options, control or anything else is working. (but "/dde <nonsense>" shows "* /dde: insufficient parameters", so it seems to be working)
I already tried direct send method .. no effect.

Any ideas? sad.gif Thanks a lot.

It's recommended to switch to the new socket transport, see http://amip.tools-for.net/wiki/amipdev/downloads (mIRC Socket Transport) it has less problems than DDE. Be sure to check the readme.txt inside.

Either I don't get it, or it doesn't work here. mellow.gif

Try reading the manual carefully.
