* iTunes doesn't provide API to access plug-in options.
To configure AMIP you can hit a global hotkey <Ctrl+Alt+Shift+O>.
Another (and recommended) way to configure AMIP is to use Java GUI
  Configurator available at http://amip.tools-for.net site.

* When closing iTunes message box appears saying that one or more applications
are using iTunes scripting interface. It happens because AMIP uses COM API to
communicate with iTunes. It's safe to say Yes and close iTunes because AMIP
also uses Visual API and is able to safely unload when iTunes is closed.

* iTunes will never report paused state to AMIP (it has no pause, but a stop
  with remembering position).

* iTunes doesn't provide the number of channels for track, AMIP wrapper always
  returns 2 (Stereo).

* When shuffle mode is enabled, AMIP retrieves playlist in the default playlist
order (Ctrl+J feature), if shuffle is disabled, AMIP uses playback order instead.

Thanks for your attention, enjoy it =).
