 lack of album entry in ID tag |

im pretty new to using this and i know this going to irritate whoever fields support q's here but
what would i enter into a string to not display the album a track is from if there isnt one present in the ID tag? ex. 'just played: track - artist (lack of album)' in the lack of album bit, it'd just show the partenthesis since a track id play wouldnt have an album field in it. just wondering if there is a particlar way to have it overlook or exclude it if it is not present sorry if this angers anyone  |

how could I use this effectively with -
//describe $active is listening to %2 by %1 from %4 would I just place the "from" into it: %?4from< "%4"|> ? |

probably incur your wrath again when i ask but i replaced this with the preset -
//describe $active is listening to %2 by %1 %?4from< "%4"|> each time I used it even when the ALBUM field was present in a non-unicode ID3v2.3 tagged mp3 file, it just kept omitting the album's name. i have no idea why it wouldn't output as it should, after having read the conditions section in the manual on this site. |
