Hey. Every time i use the search function in AMIP this windows(amip_foo_wrapper_window) pop ups.
http://www.resp3ct.se/skit/AMIP.JPG I've tried to reinstall AMIP a few times with no results. The windows just keeps come up after I've searched. I recently i reinstalled my Windows, before that AMIP worked perfectly. But now... =\ Is there anything you need to have installed more than AMIP? Like a speciall framework or something? Thx /bustz |

Weird, probably a conflict with some other plug-in. Try clean foobar installation and then install AMIP 2.61.

Just tried that, and the window keeps pop ups. To get rid of the window I have to restart foobar. And when i search again the window pop ups.
Maybe you need to have ui_columns? |

No other components are required. Where do you press Ctrl+J, in foobar or in some other window?

This window is created to process internal AMIP events and it's created invisible. But for some reason it becomes visible on your system. What OS do you run? Any third-party software that changes windows behavior?

Windows Pro, like I used before I reinstalled windows. At that time AMIP worked perfectly.
What do you mean with third-party software? Btw, do you speak swedish perhaps? (A) |

I mean some other applications running as services or in the background that are doing something with window organization. Try to boot clean Windows and shut down as much applications as possible and see if it helps.

I've allready tried to boot Windows, its still the same. =\ The sick thing is that I just reinstalled Windows, so there shouldn't be any programs who interrupt AMIP or something like that. =\

Do you have any additional foobar plug-ins installed? Does the same problem happen with the default foobar installation with only default plug-ins?

Yep, the same problem happens with default foobar installation.
Now I have some other plug-ins, like ui_columns, foo_uie_trackinfo, just the normal plug-ins you use to have. So it doesn't matter whether I have a default foobar installation or not. The problem keep happens. I guess I'll have to use "F3" from now on, when I want to search. But it sucks when you can't use it global. =\ |

There must be something unusual in your setup, but I have no idea what it is.
It's a first report of this kind, it works fine for me and for thousands of other foobar users. |
