Hello, Iam using irssi on a computer with Windows installed. To access irssi Im using the program called putty and connecting through putty to irssi. But AMIP doesnt work through putty for some reason. I have to use amip in notepad and then paste it to putty. So my question is, is it anyway to configure amip so I can use it directly to irssi instead of first pasting it to notepad? Tried changing hotkeys.

Known issue with putty+screen+some distributions. No idea why it happens, but it works without screen and it even works with screen on some linux distros. I didn't find any pattern to it.
