hi there,
i'm wondering how i can get user-defined tags from a file trough curl? i've tried like ?foo=func_ue(%mytag) but it doesn't work. i can't even find any information about it here or with google. hope it's not impossible. can anyone help me please? greets, modul23 |

Depends on the tag format, it's possible for vorbis tags to read custom fields, for other tag types it's not possible.

okay, thanks for the clear answer. as i can't use vorbis, i'll put the tags i want in the comments field i think.

okay........ something strange is happen now.
i only get max. 29 chars from the comment field. i use id3v2.4. for other fields it works fine like long artist names or so. still amip+curl. encspot and extensive scan are on too. i don't use breaks in the comment fields. just 'Labelname|http://example.org' any idea? ![]() greets EDIT: well... i've changed to id3v2.3 ISO-8859-1 and now it works. sadly i don't know why ![]() ![]() |
