Sometimes AMIP doesnt get national chars, it changes "" to "e", "" to "x" and "" to "f" :S
but it only happens with some titles |

AMIP doesn't work with Unicode yet, it only supports tags in the platform default encoding. If the tag has different encoding, AMIP can't read it correctly.

AMIP doesn't work with Unicode yet, it only supports tags in the platform default encoding. Hi Sergej, I'm using AMIP for about 2 years now and would say that the lack of Unicode support for tagging data is the only thing I'm really missing. As I fancy scandinavian music (featuring many /, / and in titles) AMIP often writes incorrect strings. I pondered on a workaround: Converting the tag encoding into the system locale (western european) - keeping the scandinavian special chars. Do you happen to know a tool that does it? (Simple command line will do.) Greetings Mikka |
