I had to strip my computer and reinstall everything. In doing so I lost my previous settings, which were awesome. They displayed something like:
"Artist - Title [Album (if available), Year (if available)] (Length)" It worked before, but I'm not sure how I would get it to do it again. This is immaterial, however as now no matter what I change the settings all I'm getting is: "Artist - Title [Album]." What am I doing wrong? I really like this plug-in and would like very much if it would do what I ask it to again. I am working with Vista, but despite having tried running all elements of the programme (including Media Monkey, which I am trying to make it work with) in Administrator mode, it is still the same story. No idea, you have to find out yourself what's wrong. Clipboard should use the settings from AMIP for sure, but MSN can take info from some players directly and override AMIP. This has been discussed, search the forums.

When AMIP is off it doesn't display anything, so it is not taking the information from anywhere else. AMIP seems to be getting its settings from someplace unknown. I can't fathom where it might be dragging its information from if not the plugin.ini file.
EDIT: It is definitely using settings from the AMIP Configurator, but only its default settings. I can change them to anything without effect. The plugin.ini file is being changed each time, but these settings are not the ones being used. Is there anywhere I ought to be looking to see where it's taking these default settings from or why it's ignoring the ones that I'm setting? EDIT2: I feel I should add that I am running Configurator as Administrator each and every time. The plugin.ini file is being altered. |
