I had to strip my computer and reinstall everything. In doing so I lost my previous settings, which were awesome. They displayed something like:
"Artist - Title [Album (if available), Year (if available)] (Length)" It worked before, but I'm not sure how I would get it to do it again. This is immaterial, however as now no matter what I change the settings all I'm getting is: "Artist - Title [Album]." What am I doing wrong? I really like this plug-in and would like very much if it would do what I ask it to again. I am working with Vista, but despite having tried running all elements of the programme (including Media Monkey, which I am trying to make it work with) in Administrator mode, it is still the same story. Best, Eiron. |

Are you sure that you modify the correct plugin.ini file for the player which is actually running, not for some other player installation which is not active?

Is there any way to find out simply and easily? The plugin.ini is the one in the MediaMonkey\Plugin folder. Obviously it runs through the gen_irc.dll. Can I see anywhere which file it is routing through?
EDIT: I've searched my computer and the only plugin.ini settings I have are in the MediaMonkey folder and one copy I made. Oddly my original settings (which I thought I had previously backed up) were not stored - this could be because it wasn't using these settings in the first place, but I don't understand which settings it would be using otherwise unless they are in some hidden folder that I didn't check. |
