I had to strip my computer and reinstall everything. In doing so I lost my previous settings, which were awesome. They displayed something like:
"Artist - Title [Album (if available), Year (if available)] (Length)" It worked before, but I'm not sure how I would get it to do it again. This is immaterial, however as now no matter what I change the settings all I'm getting is: "Artist - Title [Album]." What am I doing wrong? I really like this plug-in and would like very much if it would do what I ask it to again. I am working with Vista, but despite having tried running all elements of the programme (including Media Monkey, which I am trying to make it work with) in Administrator mode, it is still the same story. Best, Eiron. |

What preset do you modify and where do you pass your settings? Can you verify that plugin.ini is updated with your settings?

The plugin.ini file in the Plugin folder is being updated. I can manually change the settings in there too. I have the latest versions of both the Winamp plugin and the Configurator. I am using the Configurator to change the settings, but as I said, they do not seem to be being implemented.
I am modifying the alternative settings, but I did try changing the basic ones too to no effect. EDIT1: I have tried using the current release of Windows Live Messenger and the new beta. Both suffer the same problem. Previously, prior to my wanton improvements to my system that required a complete upheavel of its contents, both worked fine. EDIT2: This is a Vista system, if that helps any. But it was running Vista before and I had no problems. EDIT3: Testing the clipboard functions reveals that none of the settings are working, so it has nothing to do with WLM itself, it would appear. |
