Hi,

I am using Foobar 0.9.5

I have used AMIP with Mirc before with great success, however, when I did a clean install recently, it no longer works the way it used to.

The feature that has changed is the announcements have lost their colour when I press ctrl+alt+z, now it is just black text that say np: etc...

Any suggestions on where to go to fix this? I did a search and tried a few things but none seemed to work.
(ie: describe to message, sorry total noob at this stuff)

Thanks. smile.gif

Thanks for the links Serge. biggrin.gif

However, as I wade through it all I don't understand what I am doing wrong, or need to change. Previously this worked out of the box the way I described, I have no idea what to configure to make it do so now. sad.gif

Can you point me in a direction? is it a string? command?

Thanks smile.gif

edit:

Ok here is what it outputs into mirc:

np: Rush - Limelight "Moving Pictures"

Here is my Window sting in Foobar which it appears to come from:

[%artist% - ][%album%[ CD%discnumber%]][ - #%tracknumber%]. %title%

Here is my Amip %s Format string from the AmipWrapper page in Foobar preferences:

$num(%_playlist_number%,3). [%artist% - ]$if(%title%,['['%album%[ #[%disc%/]$num(%tracknumber%,2)]'] ']%title%,%_filename_ext%)

Here is my Amip Configurator Presets:

1. //msg $active np: %name [%min:%sec~m/%br~kbps/%sr~kHz]

2. //describe $active np: $if(%4,$if(%1,$if(%2,%1: $trunc(%4,32) - %2,%name),%name),%name) $if($mat(%min%sec,^0+$),[Stream],[%min:%sec])

Anything else I need to add for help?

Thanks again. smile.gif

Clipboard presets are in the different place. Make sure you specify the clipboard preset with mIRC color codes.
