%stat not working with MediaMonkey? Options

Hey, i'm trying to use the following formatting to display my song information to WLM:

$trunc(%name,100) %?stat='3'<(Paused)|>

However, i find that %stat always reports 1, even when the song is paused. Can this be resolved somehow?
