AMIP uses

SET PROFILE MOOD_TEXT

API command for Skype while emoticons and additional fomratting will work only for

SET PROFILE RICH_MOOD_TEXT

command.

Support for this feature would require an update for AMIP.

I've implemented this feature in 2.68, download the test version at:
http://amip.tools-for.net/files/test/amip.dll

replace the amip.dll in foobar2000\components directory.

Use the following format for animated musing icons in AMIP Configurator Skype settings:

CODE
<ss type="music"/> %name <ss type="music"/>

So sorry for the late reply, it simply works.

Thank you very much for your support.

Hello Serge.

I followed your instructions and the emoticon was showing up fine in Skype.

But after a reboot it doesn't work anymore: I tried deleting the string and repasting it but no joy, only a space is shown instead of the animated icon I was seeing before. sad.gif

What could be the reason?

TIA.

Do you also have one for Winamp?

It will work for Winamp, just rename amip.dll to gen_irc.dll and place it into Winamp plugins folder replacing the old version.
