AMIP Community _ Feature Requests _ ID3v2 tags

Is there any change that AMIP will support ID3v2.x in future releases?
'Cause ID3v1 has a limit on the length of the tags, and that sucks if you got long tags tongue.gif

AMIP supports id3v2.x tags up to 2.3 version. 2.4 version and UNICODE tags are not supported yet, but will be supported in the next major version (probably AMIP 3.0).

How about an option to prefer v2 over v1 when both are present? Cause those damn v1s are starting to annoy the crapshit out of me (I've damn nearly thrown my monitor through the godfucking window out of goddamn frustration with those fucking v1 tags :/).

AMIP always prefers id3v2 tags over id3v1, if it can read them. If it can't read id3v2 for the reasons specified in the previous post, it falls back to id3v1.

Heh, this is really a problem with anime and video game soundtracks.

/me sits back and waits patiently for an updated AMIP
