It doesn't work anymore, I turned on my laptop, tried to announce in mirc, but All I got was a "Insufficient parameters" message. So I opened the config screen in winamp, the text in the 1, 2 and clipboard buttons was missing. So I asked someone to paste his text, and I checked the first 2 boxes topleft. Still doesn't work. In mirc it says " %name [%min:%secm] " Basically that's the code for Songname, minutes and seconds. (I don't use the other stuff)
Also, the CTRL+ALT-Z function doesn't work anymore. I just get the æ character.

Any way, what the hell is the problem? I had this problem on my old pc once, and someone I know has it too, it just stops working. We both know we didn't do anything that might've caused the problem.

I deleted the plugin, reinstalled it, still doesn't work. Is there perhaps something in the register or something? I want to do a clean reinstall, unless there's a better solution..

What player do you use?

Try the following:
- reinstall your player with no third-party plug-ins into the empty directory
- install AMIP for this player
- delete plugin.ini file if it's in the player's plugins directory
- install AMIP Configurator
- switch transport to FileMapping in AMIP IRC Settings (refer to help)
- add songs to playlist, start playing a song
- /dde mplug announce should work in mIRC now
- Ctrl+Alt+Z should also work

Fixed, I use winamp, I said that in my first post. I didn't use AMIP Configurator, but I did download it for something else (got rid of album announce in msn)

The problem with reinstalling was the plugins didn't get deleted in winamp, strange. Still weird it suddenly stops working.
