AMIP Community _ Feature Requests _ amip for gaim

Gaim is the IM that support all general IM protocols.. and is open-source.. can amip support gaim? or is noone intressted in that feature?

What kind of support do you need? Please specify the list of features that you'd like to see and how you think they should work.

The same as google talk.. song title as (sub/nick)-name

I'm not sure if all the protocols GAIM supports have the feature to provide custom status and custom nick (AIM and ICQ should support it, but I'm not sure about the other protocols and if GAIM has API to change it).

Is it possible to maybe add it so theres a %song% or some other variable for gaim so you can use it in your profile or away msg's/status'.
