QUOTE(Serge @ Sep 6 2009, 07:59 PM) *

I got the application and demo account. The Windows client doesn't provide and API or other interface to write a plug-in, therefore it's not possible to make AMIP support this application at the moment.

The only API they provide is for Linux and is related to streaming rather than providing a way to extend the existing client.
Third party API available here: http://github.com/noahwilliamsson/openspotify (Microsoft Visual C++ Express)

Hello

I made an account just to encourage you to get this working. I know a lot of people would really appreciate it because spotify is getting pretty around western Europe.

So, I hope you'll work it out some time!

Also, been using amip since your first release, and I simply love it. Great work smile.gif

I, as the previous poster, joined only to urge you to create Spotify support for AMIP. I use Spotify a lot, as it is a very useful tool for me as a music lover. I always used AMIP when I used Winamp though, and I'd really appreciate the opportunity to continue using it, as it is a great tool.

Is there any updates on Spotify support being in production?

Any updates on this?
I've been using AMIP with Winamp for years now, but I recently switched over to Spotify.

cheers

Updates are unlikely until Spotify becomes to work in Russia or I relocate to a country where it works.
