i have just downloaded AMIP..and i have 3 different IRC clients on..it only works on the one that i recently installed..does anyone know how i can make it work for all of my IRC clients ? or at least pick which client the song announces in ?

Use clipboard integration. In case you are using mIRC, you can try Socket Transport and configure each client to use different port. Then make alias to get song info via socket transport and display it. Refer to AMIP and SDK documentation for details.
