Hi

I have been messing with setting up my own shoutcast station and got it working nicely with my winamp at home.

Now I am on my pc at work listening to it and AMIP works nicely when I first open up the stream, but when the tracks change in winamp, the details don't get updated to my messenger or skype apps...

I've had a look at the configurator and it seems ok, i've checked the advanced setting and it is set to only update when the filename changes, but the default setting for the ignore files of this name expression is set to '(^http://)|(\.(cue|zip|rar)$)' and as my stream begins with http:// it should update the names even though the file isn't changing...

If I uncheck the "consider song change only when filename changes" it seems to work ok... has anyone else seen this?

I'm not familiar with how to build the expression to get it to change the song name if it's a shoutcast stream, i'll do some more research to work out how to use it but if anyone has a couple of examples that would be good.

Thanks

Matt

Known problem, not sure why it happens though (not reproducible with any stream). It's safe to disable file check option.

Thanks Serge, at least I wasn't going mad! smile.gif

Yeah it seems to work fine without the filename check on.
