hello,

the software seems to work except if the music stops and fb is still open, eventually korean or chinese characters will appear in my status message.

amip v0.34 / fb 0.9.6.2 / y 9.0.0.2018

to reproduce the result, hit play on a song, then hit stop and check the status message.

since i do not understand the significance of the characters, i am not sure if it is random weirdness or sending propaganda messages and/or confidential information to anyone who is able to view my status.

Does it happen with any song or only with certain songs?

When I press stop my status is cleared (becomes empty). May be worth clearing your statuses from the registry. Search the forum for more info.

it seems to do it with any song... although i've noticed a variation in the characters - except not necessarily changing with song title. sometimes it's longer, maybe "almost repeating"

OK, I've managed to reproduce it. I need to find a way to clear the status for Yahoo. Sending a space " " will set the status to space, sending empty string produces garbage, deleting the key switches the status to the previous one (which will be also AMIP song)... doh...
