This problem is addressed in AMIP 2.65 which should work fine with 8 and 9 versions of the Yahoo Messenger. Please update your AMIP.

Serge, there is an improvement, but the status doesn't become active (it's only selectable from the the status list, thus not working properly).
I cleared all the values in Custom Msgs in regedit and I'm using version 9.0.0.2034 I really think you're much closer to solving the Y!M issue more then ever, but it's not fully fixed yet. Keep up the good job |

Weird, it works fine for me with the same Yahoo version and the status becomes active.

After uninstaling AMIP and AMIP Config and reinstaling again, it works perfect. Thanks Serge for taking the time to notice my problem
P.S. One last thing - can it be made so the new status only remains on one position (registry) and not replace all the other statuses? Cheers! |

AMIP writes to the registry under the certain message number, but it appears that Yahoo is keeping track of old statuses and therefore is storing the previous songs you've played.
In theoury it would be possible to read your old statuses and write them back after Yahoo replaces them with previously played song info, but it's rather time consuming feature and can break so fragile integration. |
