 Amip floods channel with Songs |

Hi There
After i�ve installed Amip my irc will displayed the song every time!I�ve typed in the Aliases but they don�t work.After i changed a song i will displayed in channel!that�s not possible!What can i do to correct the problem?!?!Many thx greets |

Okay i�ve found it!so i must look fpr using hotkeys,that will not working. :/ When i turn off automatic,so in Winamp it will disable all functions off amip.turn it on in winamp,so it will turn it on in Config too and it will still flood again :/ what is now the problem?!?!

Re-read the link again until you understand how it works. You probably disabled wrong option.

I think it�s something wrong in Winamp,but i can�t find!When i disable in config it�s diasble in winamp too.Enable automatic in config it will set it enable in winamp too.

Update to latest version of AMIP and AMIP Configurator. Double check that you disable the correct checkbox:
QUOTE Announce automatically When enabled, clients (mIRC) will receive song information formatted according to the current preset automatically on every song change. It�s disabled by default since it�s not polite to flood IRC channels with your song details. Consider using manual mode. Some scripts that get song information from AMIP via alias and parameters in the preset require this option to be turned on so that the script can update its internal data. Your AMIP version is probably too old, use 2.53 beta. You can just delete the plugin.ini file, AMIP 2.53 will reset it to default, where automatic mode is already disabled. |
