Hi,

i've been using amip for some time now and have just installed on a new comp. When trying tto launch the configurator i get a msg box : an error ocurred while starting the application : access is denied.
I tried reinstalling (with deleting all files) - no good. Even removed my virusscanner just in case. Oh yes and this is an xp comp and i am logged in as admin. I'm quite puzzled actually.
I'm using the latest jre - 6u12.

Any ideas?

Could be some NTFS permissions corruption on your drive.

also checked registry - is almost nothing there.
Can you give a hint as to what the configurator tries to open when launched after a fresh install? Does it try to create an ini-file or something?

in configurator.properties the path to the ini file is defined like:
inipath=c:\Program Files (x86)\foobar2000\components\plugin.ini
