AMIP Community _ Support _ VBR method?

I'm searching for a way of detecting what VBR setting was used on the mp3 (v0, v1, v2, etc)
Best I could find was %MET, but all it shows is either "vbr-mtrh" or Unknown.

Is there anyway of getting that information out of an mp3? I know some programs such as MrQuestionman that can do it, but foobar doesn't do it either.

Would really appreciate some help,

%MET will work only for Lame encoded files. There is no better way, I'm afraid.

EncSpot library code is pretty old and may not support new Lame versions.
