there's a problem with it that's really irritating. when i use it, it shows up as "- songname" and doesn't do the artist or the album. also when i use the alternate formating (which is "%name %?4<- %4|>"), it shows everything correctly except for the - in the beginning. also when i used WMP with it, it worked like a charm and didn't have the - at the beginning.
so is this a bug or some kind of feature? |

If you are using Live Messenger (which is in beta), then alternative format will not work, you can try disabling it in AMIP Configurator.
AMIP currently supports 7.x MSN Messenger versions, I didn't test it with the new beta version, but I have information that API string format has changed. |

No, it doesn't work. Only the song title is there. No artist and album.

It works, there is a problem with your configuration, you must enable Live Messenger compatibility and disable alternative formatting in AMIP Configurator, try the latest version.
Also you must have songs with tags so that %1 and %2 are not empty. |

Hi!
I'm using foobar 0.9 with amip 2.53, and i have a little problem  The MSN(using msn 7.5 without plus) integration don't working correctly for me because, when i playing song from one playlist, the "listening to" don't refresh( and i see that song name, what i first started to play from that playlist), only then refresh when i choose a song, from another playlist, or just restart the foobar. I don't know why not working, but i tried everything with configurator. |

Try the latest AMIP build and uninstall MSN Plus.

Latest is 2.52 2006-05-02. Check the installer date.
Also try to reinstall MSN. |

No, you must use AMIP 2.53 with foobar 0.9. There is no any reason to use 2.52 now.

The "copy to clipboard" function doesnt work in MSN LIVE 8 BETA. It works perfectly in notepad, or word or any other windows application, but when I press my command for copy to clipboard in MSN, nothing happens. Really annoying since this was the only feature I was expecting from AMIP. Hope you have a solution for this one. Thanks

This feature works fine for me in MSN 8.0.0689 BETA, though some users reported that it don't work for them sometimes.
You can read here for details. Apparently, it's MSN problem and there is nothing I can do about it. |

I'm also experiencing the original problem (only the song title shows up as "Now Playing")... I was wondering whether there's anyway to solve it yet? I'm using all the default settings (with MSN8 turned on & alternative formatting disabled)... Oh, and I'm using foobar2000. Thanks.
