Is there a way to change the priority in which AMIP looks for tags, so it reads the APEv2 tags first instead of the ID3 tags?

Now it first looks for ID3v1 & ID3v2, but if it reads it from there it always displays characters with accents incorrectly. But when I disable the ID3 tags and have APEv2 tags on the file, then it displays the characters correctly. I'd hate to have to remove ID3 tags from everything with special chars.

No, it's not possible.
