I wonder if AMIP supports unicode. Some of my songs are in languages other than English. But the tags are in unicode characters. They work fine with the Windows Media Player's now playing, and some other 3rd party Winamp now playing plug-ins. However, I only saw some -???-??? in messenger with AMIP.

Characters with accents get converted to different letters or (two) screwed up characters.
Examples:
ä -> d
Č -> (nothing/does not show)
ě -> Ä›
í -> m
í -> Ă
ň -> H
ö -> v
ř -> Ĺ™
š -> š
ť -> ĹĄ
ů -> ĹŻ
ů -> o
ý -> }
Ú ->Ăš

These should at lest convert to their non-accent counterparts (ä -> a etc.).

And of course Japanese characters get converted to question marks.
It's annoying to have to fix it manually each time I want to post somewhere.

If you find time to work on the project, please do add the support.

P.S.: Why wasn't Unicode supported to begin with? So American...
