Components:
foobar2000 0.9.4.3 (windows) with MSN Now Playing (foo_msnalt) 2.4 plugin AMIP wrapper 0.9 AMIP 2.61 AMIP configurator 0.32 Live Messenger 8.1.0178.00 Problem: 1) I am trying to play mp3s with japanese tags, As AMIP does not handle unicode properly, AMIP will update a mangled version of the filename in Live Messenger and then cause Live Messenger to disconnect from the network. Steps to reproduce.: Start Live Messenger. Start foobar2000. Play a song in foobar2000. Lastly, Watch as Live Messenger updates the now playing song..and disconnects. |

Thanks for the info, as a workaround just disable MSN integration via AMIP Configurator.

The bug is present if changing status from Winamp too I had an ID3 tag with Romanian characters and it kept disconnecting MSN.
