I know unicode support for now playing has been a long requested feature so I won't go there, but what I'd also love is unicode support in the formatting box in the configurator. Why? I use iTunes with it and it's great how I can put my star rating in my info, but it'd be awesome if I could use actual unicode stars to show the rating, or hell even unicode music notes would be cool too.
At the moment they just show as squares when I paste them into the formatting box and just ?s when I use it on irc/msn/wherever. No idea how hard this would be to implement or if the eventual unicode support would fix this anyway, just thought I'd mention it. Thanks for this awesome program. |

This request is related to the general Unicode support in AMIP. As even if the Configurator supported it, AMIP will not be able to read and display such config.

A shame such an app with great potential yet there's no Unicode support!
It works fine on Windows Live Messenger when it displays Japanese or Korean characters. It's when you press the hotkey; that's when it doesn't work. I just want it show what's exactly displayed in the Winamp playlist - THE EXACT FORMAT/TEXT whether it's Unicode or not. Sad to say I might have to switch to one that does.. // Roth |

Yeah, I have real life and no time for this hobby project at the moment. Now that mIRC 7.x supports unicode properly, does it help to "port" AMIP to unicode in any way? I think we're still a good billion wishing for AMIP to support unicode heh, please give an update if possible Serge |

This is my current config. when a song with Korean characters is played on MediaMonkey, the MSN message comes up with ???? - ????. Using MediaMonkey 3 and MSN 2011 Thanks in advance! |
