When using the copy & paste and the MSN integration features, instead of showing the title, album and artist tags it shows empty strings, for example "np: : () [04:23m|192Kbps]" when it should say "np: 10cc: Dreadlock Holiday (Snatch: Stealin' Stones & Breakin' Bones)[04:23m|192 kbps]"
It happens since i use foobar2000 0.9 (I use AMIP v2.53 buld 2006-03-23), and I have all my files tagged in id3v2 only. thanks for taking time to read this message. |

It has been already discussed, foobar writes tags in Unicode and in 2.4 format, id3lib used in AMIP cannot read such tags, read here for workaround.

I am experiencing a similar issue. I have verified it in 2.53 and the latest, 2.63 with the Winamp plugin. It only partially reads ID3v2 tags, but reads ID3v1 just fine. My winamp version is 5.531.
Format: np: %name (from %4) [%fl~mB/%br~Kbps/%ext] Received output: np: 19 - Pump Pump (from ) [5.72mB/215Kbps/mp3] Expected output: np: Snoop Doggy Dog - Pump Pump (from Doggystyle) [5.72mB/215Kbps/mp3] |

Is there an ETA for it's release? Do you know what's causing the bug?

ETA is standard "When it's done".
id3lib thrird-party library used in AMIP for reading id3 tags has been abandoned for many years and doesn't support some of the id3 tag types (such as id3v2 v2.4 and tags with Unicode). |
