How can I get Trillian to show my now playing info?
I didn't find any useful guide on the internet, and I sure cannot figure it out myself.

I use foobar 0.9, and Trillian 3.1 Pro.

Thanks for any help!

You can use Clipboard integration via Ctrl+Alt+Z. Direct integration may appear in later versions.

I've searched all day. I've come to the conclusion at this point that you can use TrilliWamp which may or may not work for you (it's written for WinAmp, but some people have gotten it to work with other applications). I use MediaMonkey and the /song functionality works for me but the automatic setting of the song does not. I eventually tried it with WinAmp and that did the same thing, so perhaps the current version (1.7.1) just has problems. 1.6.5 is still up on the Trillian website, but that seems even worse (just shows "away" rather then listing to: %S%).

The other option is to switch from Trillian (which I use the Pro also) to GAIM, which is free and out on sourceforge. If you switch to GAIM the you can get currenttrack which works well. I still haven't decided if I can lose my beloved Trillian. GAIM works without having to go in "away" mode, so that's even better than TrilliWamp.

In any case, AIMP is still useful for me for putting the title in title bars, adding to my email signatures, and adding "now playing" to my web site. It's such a well written program I'm sure when there is Trillian support, it'll rock. Unfortunately, until this happens, the two options above seem to be the only options.

Cheers.

Any plan to place direct integration with Trillian on the to-do list?
