Hi,
Miranda plugin works fine with foobar on the same machine.
But mostly I play music on another machine - where I installed AMIP and configured it to listen on 192.168.61.200.

Miranda won't show anything - so it seems I have to tell the plugin to get information not from local machine...

Edit: I even deactivated my firewalls - so that's not the problem. wink.gif

You need to put ac.ini next to ac.dll with the appropriate settings for the AMIP server IP/port. Download http://amip.tools-for.net/ds/dl.php?f=/fil...eta/ac_mirc.zip and refer to the readme.

Thanks for your quick reply. smile.gif

But it still doesn't work...

I have 2 PC's.
First running Windows 7 and Miranda with IP 192.168.61.1. I installed your plugin and put ac.ini right beside ac.dll (which means I put it into c:\program files\mirandafusion\, cos that's where I found ac.dll).

Second PC running Windows Server 2008 and Helium Music Manager with IP 192.168.61.200. I installed your winamp-plugin (which works if I use it with Helium on the first PC) and used the configurator.

Both firewalls are deactivated, and both PCs restarted after installing & configuring (just in case...).

huh.gif Strange, with above configuration it's working over network for msn & yahoo protocols in miranda, but not for icq and jabber protocols?!

Edit:I just realised that my jabber protocol is named jabber_1, so I changed this in amip.php and I got it working too. rolleyes.gif
Now it's just ICQ which won't show what I'm listening to. (And it's really named ICQ.)

Did you set your xstatus to "listening to music"?

Argh, no I didn't. - But I didn't neither when playing music locally, the xstatus was set automatically...

Nope, you need to set it manually. AMIP doesn't change your xstatus type.
