I don't know the cause, but I was tweaking an alias line so I could just hit F12 to display the current song playing. This worked for a long time, but then for some reason the last song info would "stick", even when I moved on to a new track. I have done everything I could think of in AMIP, from disabling "Cache" to performing a full reset, still no good. My only option at this point is to switch from DDE to something else (which I rather not do since I am familiar with DDE and I like AMIP's implementation). Any ideas would be very helpful.
P.S. - Serge, I have done a lot of work with transformed coded text into unicode (mostly Japanese to UTF-8, but I've worked on some European languages too) in PHP. Is there any way I could be of help with porting unicode features to AMIP? |

I kicked it hard enough until it started working again (some data was corrupted in Foobar). Offer is still open to help with Unicode support if possible.

Unicode support would require replacing tagging library with a different one and rewriting all the AMIP code and integration plug-in APIs to support Unicode. It's not something that can be done easily within a week or so, it requires a lot of time and must be done carefully in order not to introduce bugs.
AMIP is not written in PHP, so your skills will not help here. |
