Windows Vista Buisiness 32bit
AMIP 2.61 Winamp 5.35 I do not use keyboard shortcuts in AMIP, i just use it to report nowplaying info to mIRC. I have disabled them in the AMIP options but when I try to use certain keyboard shortcuts in programs, AMIP still overrides it. The only way I have found around this problem is to just not use AMIP or close winamp. even checking "disable AMIP" in it's options does not prevent it from overriding these shortcuts. test case one: in Firefox, CTRL+J opens your download manager. Again, I have 'enable hotkeys' UNCHECKED in the AMIP options. But it still pops up the AMIP playlist search. test case tw: I use Photoshop for a lot of tasks, but when AMIP is enabled I can not use multi-undo (keyboard shortcut for this is CTRL+ALT+Z) I can CTRL+Z back and forth to undo/redo one action but I can't use multiple undo, AMIP is somehow overriding this keyboard shortcut. These are pretty serious bugs for me, as it makes AMIP much more of a nuisance than it is worth. For the time being I have switched to another now playing plugin until it is fixed. Thanks and I hope you will look into the issue |

Do you use AMIP Configurator or old options dialog? In the first case, make sure that you are modifying the right confing for the correct player. You probably have several player installations and change options for the player which you don't use.
Disabling hotkeys in AMIP options will completely disable them, the code registering hotkeys will be not called at all. So just open your %PROGRAMFILES\Winamp\plugins\plugin.ini file and ensure that: CFG_HOT=0 |
