I've tried to use //say np: %name [%min:%sec~m/%br~kbps/%sr~kHz] instead of the default preset, but AMIP stubbornly refuses to acknowledge my changes. Using the alias /F5 /dde mplug announce preset 1 AMIP simply prints out the np using /describe anyways. I've also tried //msg $active np: %name [%min:%sec~m/%br~kbps/%sr~kHz] with the same result. Preset 2 works fine, prints out the album nicely, but again, using /describe. Changing the song in Winamp doesn't help either.
I'm using Winamp 5.541 and mIRC 6.34 on Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit with AMIP 2.63 and AMIP configurator 0.34. |

Run Configurator as Administrator, it cannot modify Winamp\plug-ins\plugin.ini file.

That's it. So simple a solution, yet it eluded me. I'm still new to Vista and all the crap therein.
Thanks a bunch! |
