Foobar + Amip + Skype

Hey, I use Amip for my stream and that works pretty fine so far, the problem I have is that Amip is constantly spamming my skype home and I couldn't find a setting to stop it from doing that. Even if I didn't turn it on for my stream it still spams skype.
This is probably a pretty stupid question I know, but thanks in advance.

Hotkey Deregistration

I've tried disabling the hotkey via the configurator menu, and even changing it.

CTRL J is by default Google Chrome's Downloads hotkey...

well, after changing the preferences, it still opens up the playlist search.... and I have no idea why it wont deregister itself. Heck, i've even disabled hotkeys completely and it still wont deregister itself.

Even with the disabling of the hotkeys and the change of the hotkey in the settings... CTRL J still opens this window.

Winamp Streaming to TuneIn API

I did some searches here and would like to know how to do the following.

I stream from winamp to Edcast and out to my provider. TuneIn has an API to display now-playing info on their services. You can see all the info here: http://tunein.com/broadcasters/api/

Basically, they use a GET command. Here's the code snippet:

I am getting the ID and Keys in just a bit but I need to know if this tool is what I need to accomplish this. I'm not a coder or have any idea on GET and such.

I use Winamp and AMIP to show a playlist in my livestream.

And i dont wanna get the text in browsers and ablications i only wanna use the writing playlist as txt feature cause it use a lot of cpu <,< i did disable all withotu the writing playlist in text file feature but i still see it ... can i fix it ?

Hi,

I've recently switched to Media Monkey and it seems that AMIP behaves kinda strange there. Everything works; i can edit preset #3 (if MM is run as administrator) as long as I start it with "say +whatever variables".

But that gives me in XChat just a regular Message, like:
"Furexus:np Band - Album - Title"

But I want to use something like /me np: %1 - %4 - %2. Just tying "say /me %1 - %4 - %2" doesn't work as it doesn't perform an action but just types "/me" without recognition of the metasign. I want something like
"Furexus np Band - Album - Title"

Has anybody a solution for this?

I have downloaded [amip_foobar_09.zip] and I'm trying to use it with [Trillian 5.1 Free build 19] and my music player is [Foobar2000 v1.1.10] but nothing shows up in my status

"current song" is checked in Trillian settings, tried re-installing AIMP and restarting Trillian and everything but no success

I'm trying to configure amip to the miranda irc protocol. Is this possible?
If it is, what settings should i use? Do i need any additional plugins for miranda?

Oh, i forgot to mention that it works perfectly fine out of the box with the mirc client. It also works fine with the other miranda protocols. I, however, can't find any documentation on how to configure it in order to work for the irc protocol.

Will AMIP be compatible with AIMP 3 anytime soon?

One of our new DJs is trying to install Amip.

now ive used it on XP successfully for years without issues of any kind.

she has uninstalled it, and reinstalled it, run as administrator, done all the right things and yet it continually gives her a result of

"Unable to Config"

i checked her config path and it seems correct, ie its stuck the plugin.ini into winamps plugin folder, both versions of amip and configurator are current and she has up to date JAva

the only thing different is windows 7.

in fact after trying to do things it even wont let her untick the "enabled" box or change any of the presets and even greys out the Apply button.

we are at a bit of a loss here...... can anyone assist??

ok after a quick thought it may have been greying out the apply button so she could hit OK ..... still doesnt explain the "unable to config"

Font Colours using custom Background image

Hi all,

I've made a custom background png file that I would like to use instead of the default white base image. When I use this it changes the colours of the fonts. Its almost like the font values are relative to the background colours somehow. what do I need to change so that font colour values I use in $config['font_color'] and $config['font_colormono'] are the actual colours that I see regardless of background image.

i try use internet explorer 64bit and firefox 64bit (nightly version), but amip-plugin not work...then i try 32bit firefox, and it's work like charm...next test was make new text-document on desktop and amip not work whit this...what's problem? i use win 7 646bit and newest jre and all other newest...

I've managed to write a fairly complex script (to me at least) that will make it spit out a link based on what I'm playing, I want to know if it's possible for AMIP to take that link, and throw it through a URL shortener, and spit out a much shorter URL.

(I'm also in #AMIP atm)

I don't know what the issue is... I installed AMIP in the directory for the 64-bit iTunes, and it's not showing up in mIRC. I've tried the APL as well, but don't know if I need to type a command to activate it or what.

i have used amip many years, and it's great plugin! But now i have problem with it, it does not work. It stopped working suddenly. I have unistall and install winamp and amip several times, but it wont help. What could be the problem ? Im usin win 7 64-bit professional. I have latest drivers, bios is updated ect. Any help would be great.

Amip.dll causing itunes to quit

Every time I try to play certain songs on itunes, it says Itunes has performed an illegal operation and must be shut down and it says amip.dll is to blame. How do I fix this problem?

Hey, I don't know a lot about AMIP, but for as long as I've been using it I occasionally get songs that don't post properly when I manually announce them. I get a lot looking like this:

/me np: - [] - [04:44] []

I also get some occasionally where the tags (song, album titles) seem to've been cut off, either after a certain number of characters, or for some other reason, despite being tagged properly.

Im using AMIP with foobar2000 v0.9.6.9, with the string "/me np: %1 - %4 [%5] - %2 [%min:%sec] [%6]"

This seems like a simple problem that someone would know the answer to.

I have aimp 2 player, I installed amip for winamp with it and later I installed the miranda im plugin. However, I run miranda im and a error windows appears. When i uninstall aimp miranda plugin, im client get fixed. Sorry if my english isn't good. I hope you answer.

AMIP with AIMP3 and YChat

I'm not sure whether this is a problem with AIMP3 API, though it should be the same as they use all the same universal commands as Winamp for plugin compatibility, or if it's just not supported through the XChat plugin.

I realize these are both awkward choices to use with this AMIP, especially together.

All of my commands work from YChat except for the ones pertaining to playlist, these are the most important commands to me.
Things like: rfind, find, play index, getlist, setplpos

I know it's caching the playlist successfully as it shows up when I bring up the search dialog, even when I double-click on an item in that dialog it just plays the currently selected track in AIMP3, not the one I just double-clicked, which leads me to believe the problem lies in AIMP3 compatibility.

If this is supposed to be possible currently I'd like to know exactly how to configure AMIP to get it working and what type enter into irc.
Otherwise, if this isn't currently possible, I would love to see support for this in the future.

Please let me know.

Edit: It's not a problem with XChat, playlist commands aren't working through mIRC either. Probably an AIMP3 compatibility issue.

Hello Sarge,

Something's odd about the way AMIP updates my Gtalk status with fb2k 1.1.3. When it tries to update the status, the Gtalk status dropdown shows up on top of whatever I'm doing (see attachment), and the fb2k UI "freezes" until I click on said menu or switch to any other window. The status isn't updated, anyway.
