AMIP 2.66 changes:

%indexed and %listinsync were not reset after clearing cached playlist making impossible to detect if current playlist is actually in sync
mIRC DDE requests sometimes arrive with first letters of the parameters capitalized which breaks API commands processing. For example, /dde mplug control play and stop commands didn't work. Now the values of DDE parameters from mIRC are lowercased explicitly
fixed critical bug in regrep function (memory corruption when string became longer after replacing)

fixed playlist not synchronizing when current item changes and better sync for playlist containing radio streams

AMIP 2.63 released

AMIP 2.63 changes:

* Fixed rare crash on exit when using Remote/API (thanks to badmadbug for reporting)
+ %infoready variable, 0 when song info is not ready yet, like on player startup (for exmaple, API eval/format functions will return %name for %name instead of song). When this variable is 1, it's safe to evaluate and display song information
* RCF 0.9c + custom fixes (AMIP 2.63 is not compatible with clients using older ac.dll, you must update your clients if you are using any to work with this AMIP version)
* Remote API server will restart automatically if crashed
* "search" remote API command deadlock fixed
* /skype in exit callback didn't work
* File Mapping is now used for mIRC by default instead of DDE to avoid locks and crashes
+ %configfile variable - full path to config ini file used by AMIP
+ fb2k: proper conversion of 0-255 volume range to foobar dB volume range for set/get volume API commands

SDK 1.4 changes:

potential server crash fixed
RCF 0.9c, make sure to update AMIP to 2.63+, or SDK will not work with it
automatic server restart if crashed, better handling of invalid data on the wire
64-bit version (mainly to work with 64-bit JVMs, bundled only with Java SDK)

Other changes:

All the add-ons using AMIP SDK have been updated with the new version of ac.dll
AMIPDS has been fixed to work with PNG on the new PHP installations
AIM integration should now correctly work with the new versions when replace %song mode is used
Miranda integration now includes the new MBot which can work with all 0.8 versions of Miranda and also bundles the latest PHP version (5.2.5)
AMIP Configurator now keeps the splitter position between restarts and provides better vertical resizing of the text areas

AMIP 2.63 API is not compatible with the previous versions. Make sure to update all your clients (if any) which are based on AMIP SDK (like AIM, Miranda, HydraIRC and other integrations).

All the developers who are using AMIP SDK must also update ac.dll they bundle with their applications to the new version to be compatible with AMIP 2.63.

AMIP integration for Miranda IM

Miranda IM integration is now available, please download and try it here.

Features:

set ICQ XStatus to currently playing song title
set MSN and Yahoo away message to playing song
handle /np command in message windows and replace it with song info
/ac command to control playback in your player (also works remotely, so that you can control your player with messages from another ICQ)
if PopUp plug-in is installed the script will display nice pop-up with song
bundled SVN build of MSP (mBot) plug-in and PHP 5.2.4 DLL (minimal build) (fixed bug with console window appeared when using mBot)

AMIP 2.62 released

AMIP 2.62 has been released with the following list of changes since 2.61:

Clipboard integration fix to work with international charactets without registry patching and in Vista (where patching registry doesn't help)
Thread safety for playlist search and background playlist sync functions (could hang under some conditions in the previous versions)
Thread safety for the Remote/API subsystem related to the playlist synchronization and passing playlist to other applications
Client/Server startup/shutdown could hang because of incorrect use of thread functions, should be fixed now

SDK 1.3 introduces the following changes:

fixed mIRC dll unloading for mIRC 6.3 (hello Khaled!)
ac_is_client_initialized and ac_is_server_started functions with bindings for Java/PHP and mIRC API
thread safety of all the ac_ functions
PHP bindings
added C# bindings, see bindings/CSharp folder, all credits go to DJMarty who contributed this code

All plug-ins and components that use ac.dll are also updated, please download the recent versions.

AIMP player support

It was tricky to install AMIP for AIMP player because of the strict checks in the installer. I've uploaded the new repacked installer (amip_winamp.zip), that can be used to install AMIP for AIMP.

I'm proud to announce the new stable release of AMIP.

It's has been a long time in beta since 2.52 release, almost 2 years. AMIP 2.53 beta has become 2.60 release. I'd like to thank you for all the bug reports and feature requests.

So, what's new? Well, it depends on the version you are used. If you were using 2.53 betas, then there is probably not much new in this release. If you were staying on 2.52, the amount of changes is huge, please see the changelog.

New beta has been uploaded, changes since the last beta:

- Rollback Yahoo 8 changes. Since 8.0.0.683 they've restored the old behavior, make sure you have this Yahoo version
- Update to RCF 0.4
- Major bug with Remote/API is fixed (server was always listening on 127.0.0.1 despite of the configuration)

There is also AMIP Configurator version 0.31 with the option to control clipboard restore behavior.

SDK/JAVA_SDK/AMIP-AIM/ac_mirc are also updated to include Remote/API binding fix.

AMIP 2.53 build 2006-05-02

New build has been uploaded and is available from the beta downloads page.

Changes since last build:

Skype Integration: automatically reconnect to Skype when it's restarted & other tweaks
Reworked clipboard integration to use SendInput
Title bar: options to configure horizontal and vertical shift

There is also new AMIP Configurator build (0.29) supporting title bar shift options. Translators, please update translations, there are many new strings.

SDK has been updated to RCF 0.2 and some fixes to destructors were made which should improve stability.

Some more samples are available in Java SDK package.

AMIP-AIM and ac_mirc are now packaged with the new version of ac.dll, update if necessary.

Please report bugs.

About a week ago the site was transfered to the new dedicated server, but some days ago HDD on the server crashed, server was off-line for 2 days and support didn't respond.

We were forced to buy the new dedicated server from a better hosting provider. Then it took some time to get the data from the crashed server and transfer it to the new one.

I want to apologise for the inconvenience, I hope the new server will run well and there will be no more down times.
