Maybe you could add an option to choose when to change status msg:

-on song change
-every X seconds

I wonder if you could fix the behavior so that if you use a " - " in your formatting, everything before would be as the artist field and everything after would become the song field(or whatever formatting is the standard for WMP etc.)?

But should be: artist->"%1" song->"%2 [Album: %4~]".
I think MSN automatically does " - " when you send artist + song so ideally you would remove the spaces from the formatting before announcing to msn.

It works fine on Windows Live Messenger when it displays Japanese or Korean characters. It's when you press the hotkey; that's when it doesn't work. I just want it show what's exactly displayed in the Winamp playlist - THE EXACT FORMAT/TEXT whether it's Unicode or not.

Sad to say I might have to switch to one that does.. unsure.gif

Maybe im talking crap cause I dont really know about scripts programming or anything like that, BUT what if you force each time AMIP sees a new song playing to copy-it to the clipboard straight away?

In that way you dont need to use any hotkey but just press ctrl+v ingame and paste the song.

I know this will clash with other pasting programs but I am just talking about a feature that can be turned on or off as an option.
