Not sure if this is a bug exactly, but it's troublesome nonetheless.
A while ago I installed AMIP for iTunes, and it worked just fine... except for one thing. There were a few certain albums that, when played, caused iTunes to suddenly have an error report message pop up. It's the standard error report on Windows - "iTunes has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." I have uninstalled AMIP and tried playing the problem albums, but nothing happened. I reinstalled it, and it happened again.
The albums that cause this problem are as follows:
FINAL FANTASY Ⅳ - Celtic Moon (purchased from the iTunes store. None of the other iTunes store purchases cause this problem).
FINAL FANTASY TACTICS ADVANCE Original Soundtrack (This is a two-disc soundtrack, and the problem occurs for both discs. This is one of the albums that I have ripped directly from a CD into iTunes, but only this album and another have this problem).
Piano Collections FINAL FANTASY IX (Also ripped from a CD. Again, no other albums ripped from CDs cause this problem)
I also don't think the problem is caused by the fact that they are Final Fantasy albums, since I have several other Final Fantasy soundtracks that work correctly. Aside from that, I am not sure what the connection is.
Could be because of Japanese Unicode tags. Will be addressed in 3.0.
That does indeed seem to be the problem, since I just found out the same thing happens to my Dragon Quest I + II Soundtrack.
