AMIP Community _ Support _ Amip Foobar code

Hi,
I'm an extreme newbie.

All I'd like is a code for amip for foobar to just display, np: artist - title.

Ive tried to change it but I tend to end up with negative results.

In AMIP settings use np: %name
In foobar don't change anything.

You mean in the output strings box?? Ive tried that and just did and it still list the album. I would like it to just display the artist and song title.

Not sure where you announce and what did you change. Refer to the docs.
If you can't find it, provide the screenshots clarifying the issue.

Can you check if it works with files containing valid tags that AMIP can read?

Do you announce to mIRC or some other application?

when i press ctrl alt z it shows something like this

np: Blondie - Bermuda Triangle Blues (Flight 45) "Plastic Letters"

im using it in a game. i usd media monkey before and i didnt have this problem but now i cant figure the code so it just shows this

Of course you are. Preset #1 is for mIRC, as you are using the clipboard integration you should change clipboard preset (#5).

would the same apply to msn messenger? and if so which clipboard would i modify?

If you are using clipboard integration, then yes. If you are using MSN automatic integration, then no, you need to install AMIP Configurator and change settings as described at http://amip.tools-for.net/wiki/manual/configurator#msn_messenger .

Please read all the docs before asking further stupid questions.
