Hey,
I hope somebody can help me.
I don't want to have my Output text like this: np: Artist - Tracktitle "Album"
I want to have it like this: Artist -Tracknumber- Tracktitle (Lenght) "Album (Year)" - Genre
eg: np: Kiss -01- I Was Made for Lovin' You (03:57) "Dynasty (1979)" - Hard Rock
Which (I think) should be: np: %1 -%3- %2 (%min:%sec) "%4 (%5)" - %7
I changed the tags in the presets, but nothing happend.
Does someone know, what exactly I have to do?
Thanks in advance.
Exactly the same problem here with mIRC 6.35 and foobar 2000 v1.0 and AMIP-2.67-foobar2000.
Restarting foobar and mIRC didnt help. Do I have to reboot the whole machine?
Thanks in advance...
In foobar settings you should use foobar variables, not AMIP variables. Reset to default and change AMIP presets instead in AMIP Configurator, not in foobar.
Thanks for the answer.
Heres what i did:
Preset 1 is set to the default:
"//describe $active np: %name [%min:%sec~m/%br~kbps/%sr~kHz]"
resulting in mIRC output e.g.:
[10:18] * pOOBAH np: Bonnie 'Prince' Billy - A Minor Place [03:43m/711kbps/44kHz]
I manually announce with "/F12 /dll ac mexec announce preset 1" in mIRC
now i tried to change the preset (or create a new one on preset 3) and changing the mIRC settings
accordingly to "/F12 /dll ac mexec announce preset 3"
when pressing F12 it always announces in the format set in preset 1...
no matter if i change those in AMIP Config or use an different preset with e.g.
"/F12 /dll ac....preset 3" in mIRC.
I hope I could make clear, what my problem is. Maybe the solution is so simple I just dont see it.
Regards
Make sure the player can read the settings and that the settings are actually saved to the plugin.ini. On Vista/7 you may need to run both player and AMIP Configurator as Administrator.
Thanks a lot.. The only problem was, that the AMIP Configurator wasnt started as Administrator.
Now changes are saved.
